2. Scope of the Service
Pistoia Life is a tourism-oriented digital platform designed primarily for adult visitors interested in discovering Pistoia and its surrounding area.
The platform provides tourist information, recommendations, places of interest, accommodation, restaurants, shopping, events, itineraries, local businesses and bookable experiences offered by selected third-party partners.
Users are not currently required to create an account in order to access the platform.

Experience booking requests
When a user submits a request for an Experience, we may collect:

selected Experience;
selected booking date, time or time slot;

Any particular requirements relating to allergies, intolerances, health, accessibility or similar circumstances should be communicated directly to the Partner providing the Experience.

Where users voluntarily subscribe to the Pistoia Life newsletter or marketing communications, their email address and information relating to their consent may be processed for this purpose.
Marketing communications are sent only where the appropriate legal requirements have been satisfied. Users may withdraw their consent and unsubscribe at any time.
Geolocation

Newsletter and marketing. Where required, these communications are based on the user's consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Geolocation services. Location information is used to provide features expressly requested or enabled by the user and, where required, on the basis of the user's permission or consent.
Analytics and improvement. Usage information may be processed to understand how Pistoia Life is used, improve its content and functionality and measure performance. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics technologies or storage/access on the user's device, such processing will be activated in accordance with the user's choices.

5. Experience Requests and Disclosure to Partners
Pistoia Life acts as a promotional and information platform for Experiences offered by independent third-party Partners.
When a user submits an Experience request, the personal data necessary to manage that request, including name, surname, email address and selected booking slot, may be disclosed to the Partner responsible for providing the Experience.
The Partner may then contact the user directly by email to confirm availability, provide additional information and manage the booking.
Submitting a request through Pistoia Life does not by itself constitute confirmation of the booking.
Once personal data is received and independently processed by a Partner for its own purposes, the Partner may act as an independent data controller in accordance with its own privacy information and applicable law.
6. Payments
Pistoia Life does not currently process payments for Experiences.
Any payment relating to an Experience is made directly between the user and the Partner providing the Experience.
Payment information provided directly to a Partner or its payment service provider is therefore not collected by Pistoia Life through the Experience request process described in this Policy.
7. Google Analytics
Pistoia Life uses Google Analytics to obtain statistical information about the use of the platform.
Depending on its configuration and the user's consent choices, Google Analytics may collect information such as session statistics, interactions with pages and content, device/browser information and approximate location information.
Analytics technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers.
Where consent is legally required, non-essential analytics technologies will be subject to the user's consent choices.
8. Firebase
Pistoia Life may use services provided through Google Firebase for technical functionality, analytics, notifications, performance and/or related application services.

The Pistoia Life web application uses technology and infrastructure provided by GoodBarber.
GoodBarber may process technical and other information on behalf of Pistoia Life as a service provider/data processor in connection with the operation of the platform.
The actual data processed depends on the features and permissions enabled within the Pistoia Life application.
